How to Set up a Snail Terrarium:

1. Buy a terrarium, such as this one: Reptile Terrarium.

2. Buy some small pots with water trays, such as: Plastic Pots & Trays.

4. Put dirt into the pots and plant grass, lettuce, kale, and chickweed. Stack the pots in terrarium, and water them.

6. Add your snails!

How to Take Care of Snails:

1. Feed your snails fresh cucumbers and lettuce. Remove from terrarium after 1-2 days, and replace with fresh food.

2. Water the plants once per week. Let the plant trays fill with water for the snails to drink.

3. Clean terrarium once per month with with eco-friendly, sensitive-skin dish soap, such as: Eco-Max Dish Soap. Add fresh plants if needed. Rinse snails with room-temperature water.

4. Provide a cuttlebone in the terrarium so your snails can get calcium to build and repair their shells.

How to Entertain a Snail:

Snails are very curious creatures! To keep your snails active, give them fresh food and new environments.

1. Always remove old food from the terrarium and replace with fresh food.

2. When you would like to see your snails explore, rinse them with room-temperature water and place them back in their terrarium.

2. Occasionally, rearrange the plant pots in their terrarium. Be careful not to crush any snails that may be hiding in the plants and/or the dirt! Give the snails a rinse, and enjoy them exploring their new environment.
