Snails are a gardeners’ nemesis because they multiply quickly and eat a lot of plants, but they are so cute! They are very slow but actually not the slowest animals on the planet. Snails are technically blind because all they can see is light and darkness.

There are thousands of snail species, all around the world, in the sea or on land, but they all need water to live and grow.
